The CX242 is a culmination of all of our experience, advanced materials, and shoe making techniques to make a shoe that offers the best fitting solution for hard to fit foot types. Made with a heat moldable heel counter and an uniquely designed upper that has enough adjustability to accommodate feet with any instep height or foot volume without sacrificing comfort. The CX242 was designed for those riders with foot issues such as bunions, deformation or extremely narrow feet who need a shoe that will not beat their feet up, giving the rider the endurance they need to stay on the bike. The upper has separated panels that allow for fine tuning the pressure and fit which also allows the upper to conform around sensitive and painful spots on the foot without the same level of constraint that is felt in traditional shoe uppers. CX/TX Competition Last – With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, our Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last. The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures. Lake Competition 100% Carbon Fiber Sole. Available in 3 hole cleat pattern. A 100% carbon fiber sole that creates a comfortable, lightweight and classy package. Fullgrain leather (White/Black and Black/Silver) or Clarino Microfiber (Matte Grey/Black and Reflective Silver/Grey) and NuFoam lining with Carbon fiber support panels, which help to maintain a secure fit while adding foot stability. The upper is segmented into 6 independent zones for the most flexible fit to accommodate narrow or wide feet as well as high instep and low instep feet. The moldable heel counter doubles the heel hold for a secure fit. Carbitex support panels offer additional support to enhance the closure. Dual Side mounted Push/Pull Li2 BOA Fit System with releasable lace guides.

MX Sport Last – This last features a larger, more roomy toe-box than our Comfort last while providing increased foot control through the heel & saddle of the foot. The resulting fit is designed for aggressive riding while remaining comfortable to wear all day. Ideal for couriers, adventure cyclists & anyone else who wears their cycling shoes for long periods of time. . Tip for keeping your shoes Water resistant: The uppers are treated from the factory with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating that will ware away over time and use. Like many other water-resistant products, to help keep the shoe uppers from absorbing water that could migrate into the shoe, it is recommended to reapply the upper with a DWR spray which are readily available at most stores that sell outdoor products. We recommend reapplying the coating 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and for heavy use or daily commuter riders reapply at least after every 2-3 extreme wet rides. For best result follow the instructions from the DWR manufacture on how to reapply the coatings. Supergrip Enduro Sole with Ice Lock anti-slip lug inserts. Not only does the MX146 feature Lake's Legendary Fiberglass injected Nylon sole, but also one of the most technically advanced rubber soles. The Supergrip rubber sole features ICE LOCK tread inserts, which are vertically injected micro glass fibers that grip virtually all surfaces. This gives you a wet weather cycling shoe that is sure footed and stable in any condition. The upper features softshell fabric, water resistant microfiber, Thinsulate 200gr insulation and a waterproof membrane making this a highly water resistant cycling shoe great in various conditions. Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the suppleness found in leather at a significant weight reduction. Mid Power M4 Cartridge Tongue mounted BOA dial excels in ice, dirt & other challenging environments & is designed to be easily adjusted with gloves on. The mid-capacity dial combines durability & closure strength to withstand intense force & impact, without sacrificing fit & when combined with Click-Fit quick release, the system makes for an easier entry & exit. The MX332 is a lightweight and versatile race shoe made from Helcor Leather that is well-suited for Cross Country racing, Cyclocross, or Gravel biking. MX Race Last –Featuring a slightly narrower toe box & tighter heel than the Competition last and less overall volume than the Sport last. Designed for a slimmer fit & most suitable for racing. Outsole: Lake SPD compatible 100% Carbon Fiber Sole with real rubber tread and provisions for replaceable toe spikes. Upper: Helcor Leather for extreme durability.
